Youth Hockey Association is pleased to invite your organization to participate
in our 2007 Holiday Hockey Tournament to be held December 26 - 31, 2007.
Last year's tournament was a tremendous success with over 45 teams
participating.
All
teams are guaranteed a minimum of three
games, and a maximum of 4 games in a three-game round robin series.
All games will be 12-minute stop-time periods officiated by USA Hockey
certified referees. USA Hockey rules will apply to all divisions.
DIVISIONAL
FORMATS:
DECEMBER 26th – 28th, 2007
(WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY & FRIDAY)
MITE B (RI-B), SQUIRT B (RI-A2),
SQUIRT C (RI-B), PEEWEE B (RI-A2), BANTAM B (RI-B)
DECEMBER 29 - 31, 2007:
(SATURDAY, SUNDAY & MONDAY)
MITE A (RI-A), SQUIRT A (RI-A1),
PEEWEE A (RI-A1), PEEWEE C (RI-B), BANTAM A (RI-A)
Each Division will be limited to
six (6) teams
ROSTERS:
All teams must be USA Hockey Registered.
Along with the attached Roster sheet, all teams must also provide their
USA Hockey Registration form signed by their State Registrar.
No player roster changes may take place without prior approval from the
CLCF Tournament Committee. Failure
to obtain prior approval will result in player disqualification for the
remainder of the tournament and forfeiture of all games in which the player
participated.
LOCATIONS:
Games will be played at Cranston's Veteran's Memorial Rink, Cranston, RI
and West Warwick Athletic Complex, West Warwick, RI
AWARDS:
Trophies will be awarded to players from
both championship and runner-up teams in all divisions.
ENTRANCE
FEES: The
cost for entering our tournament is $750.00.
A
deposit of $350.00 must accompany each entry.
Applications, team rosters, and USA Hockey rosters must be received as
soon as possible. All balances must
be paid by December 1st, 2007. Please
make checks payable to CLCF Hockey.

GENERAL
ADMISSION:
We request that all families
coming to the games please donate a canned good for the benefit of the Cranston
Homeless Shelter/Rhode Island Food Bank.
SCHEDULING:
All teams will be notified regarding game times by mail/e-mail in
December.
Upon
receipt of your entry form and deposit, additional tournament information will
be forwarded to you.
