House
League - Program Summary
The House League is broken down to
2 divisions Mite House League(8 and under) and Senior House League(12
and under).
This
program will strive to successfully aid in the development of
all
participants in the sport of hockey.
Development of necessary skills will be stressed
and
reinforced throughout the year. All sessions are held
between the Cranston Veterans
Memorial Ice Rink in Cranston, RI and the West Warwick Ice Arena West
Warwick, RI. This
program will consist of skills clinics,
team
practices
and
games. All skaters are dressed in full hockey equipment.
Also, all house league players are included in a pre-season
warm-up clinic. Cost for this
program is included in your registration
. The primary objective of the program is to
develop;
- Puck handling and control
- Skating and puck carrying skills
- Edge control, hockey starts and stops
- Passing and shooting techniques

Introduce full & half ice game play
